Magic Mag from Prague is a joint project of dozens of leading creators, institutions and brands dedicated to promoting Prague and the Czech Republic internationally.
It is published by the Czech-German media house Black Swan Media. Its launch will take place as part of the Czech guest of honor program at the Frankfurt Book Fair in October 2026.
Magic Mag is not a traditional magazine.
It is a cultural object — a calling card of Czech creativity.
Best of the Heart of Europe.
It is an English-language periodical published once a year, conceived in the spirit of luxurious coffee table books.
The project builds on the global recognition of the “Magic Prague” brand. Its core themes are culture, business, science & technology, and society.
The central theme of the bookmag is the position of Czechia in a changing world — its role at the centre of Europe as a crossroads of East and West. A country shaped by history, aware that freedom and democracy must always be defended.
The publication includes the so-called “Noble Notes” — personal, handwritten messages from prominent figures of economic, political and social life, which further shape the character of the work.
“Noble Notes” is also the name of the wider media ecosystem to which Magic Mag from Prague belongs. It includes the German-language book “Buch über Bücher”, the website nnmagazine.cz, a newsletter, an Instagram account, and an exclusive event — Salon at the Black Swan House, the seat of the publishing house.
